Understand your print cost
What does 1.7¢ per square inch mean?
One square inch is a 1-inch by 1-inch area. At a rate of 1.7¢, each square inch costs $0.017. To compare quotes, multiply the width by the height, then apply the quoted rate. Use the same sheet area and quantity with each supplier.
For gang sheets, pay attention to how much of the purchased sheet your designs use. Grouping back prints, chest logos and smaller artwork can reduce unused space. Keep enough room to cut the designs apart cleanly.
A simple rate example
For an illustrative 1,000 square inches at the advertised starting rate:
1,000 × $0.017 = $17.00 CAD
This is the print-area calculation before shipping and tax. It is not a quote for a particular sheet size. The starting rate may depend on the product, size or quantity selected.

For deadline-driven print jobs
Same-day shipping starts with print-ready artwork
If you are switching suppliers for an upcoming market, team order or client deadline, prepare the final gang sheet before submitting. Strong N Free’s fastest workflow is a completed, print-ready gang sheet submitted before 9 a.m. on a business day. Eligible orders generally ship that day; this describes dispatch, not arrival at your address.
Check the final file
Use high-resolution artwork at the finished print size, with a transparent background where needed. Review spelling, dimensions and small details before approving the layout.
Order before the cutoff
Upload the completed gang sheet before 9 a.m. For an urgent job, contact us before ordering to confirm the production location’s cutoff and available capacity.
Allow carrier time
Choose the available shipping service that fits your deadline. Weekends, statutory holidays, distance and carrier schedules affect the time between dispatch and delivery.
Standard DTF gang-sheet processing is listed as 1–2 business days plus shipping. Stock transfers and other products have different processing windows, and artwork corrections or peak workloads can change timing. Review the current processing and shipping information before placing a time-sensitive order.
An alternative for Alberta and across Canada
Choose the ordering method that fits the job
An Edmonton apparel shop repeating a chest logo has different needs from a Calgary market vendor combining many designs. A decorator in Edson or a smaller Alberta community also needs to account for carrier transit. Strong N Free gives each customer three direct routes to custom transfers.
